Paloma Faith Donates Olympic Torch To Charity
The singer had the honour of taking the famed flame through her native Hackney as part of its 70-day relay across the U.K. prior to the 2012 Games, but rather than keeping the memento she handed it over to a good cause,
Speaking to British chat show host Alan Carr, she revealed, "I didn't buy mine, I gave mine to charity."
Faith, who carried the flame on her 27th birthday (Jul), also reveals she was subject to heckling on her route, adding, "I did it in red stilettos and this woman, she was in the crowd, she went, 'Should have been white shoes'."
