Ozzy Osbourne - Ozzy Osbourne: Sharon and I are not divorcing
Ozzy Osbourne has taken to his personal Facebook page to confirm he and wife Sharon are not divorcing after 31 years of marriage, despite the rumours after both were spotted without wedding rings and are now living apart.
Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed he and Sharon Osbourne are not divorcing.
The quirky couple, who have been married 31 years, sparked speculation they were splitting up after being spotted without their wedding rings and Sharon being seen moving into a new Los Angeles pad.
However, the 64-year-old rocker took to his personal Facebook page to set the record straight, as well as make amends with his family and Black Sabbath bandmates for his recent ''insane'' behaviour.
Ozzy wrote: ''For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a*****e to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober.
''Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I'm just trying to be a better person.
''I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period.........and my fans.
''God Bless, Ozzy (sic)''
The couple's son Jack blasted reports suggesting his parents are splitting up, calling them ''bull***t''.
Taking his anger on the UK media through Twitter, he posted: ''...it's all bulls**t. Last time I check a lot of British news papers weren't amazing sources of accurate information. Moving on... (sic)''
A spokeswoman for Sharon, 60, recently confirmed the pair are living two miles apart from each other in Beverly Hills, California, but insisted it was down to their hectic work schedules.
They said in a statement: ''They've both got huge work commitments. She is at the hotel for work and he is starting his Black Sabbath tour. Of course they row but they are still together.
''Sharon and Ozzy have spent long periods of time apart before when she was working in the UK. The marriage is not on the rocks.''
