With students already celebrating spring break in many areas, weekday business was up at the nation's box office, helping to push Oz the Great and Powerful past the $100-million mark on Thursday. Its momentum won't be stopped this weekend, according to tracking studies, which indicate that it will probably earn at least another $35-40 million and easily trounce two newcomers, Warner Bros.' The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, starring Steve Carell and Jim Carrey, and Sony's The Call, starring Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin. Those two films are expected to earn around $12-15 million each but will likely not lose money. Wonderstone reportedly cost $32 million to produce; The Call, $13 million. Both films have received largely negative reviews.
