Miley Cyrus - Oscars 2012: Miley Cyrus Blasts Death Threat Tweets

In response to hurtful remarks about her dressing like "white trash" and being "so f*cking hideous,", Miley said, "That saddens me.Im surrounded by love Im sorry 4 whatever happened 2 make u so bitter". She later alleged she had received death threats and blasted the social network for allowing it, saying, "I wont tolerate someone telling me 2 die.Twitter needs to take some responsibility and make it a safe environment". Despite the incident, the singer and actress appeared to be in high spirits after leaving Elton's party, tweeting, "Thank you Sir Elton John for such a lovely night!". The night obviously wasn't finished there for Miley and Hemsworth - the singer later tweeting, "Now to Vanity Fair. I love all the glitz & glam of the oscars & celebrating such talent!".

Miley and her beau were joined at the Vanity Fair party at the Sunset Tower Hotel by Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer, Ahna O'Reilly and Emma Stone. According to Usa Today, Spencer "looked relaxed and more than a little relieved as she sipped water and received well-wishers".
