Superstar Paralympian and accused murderer Oscar Pistorius's brother has pleaded not guilty to culpable homicide.
Carl Pistorius was accused of killing a female biker, Maria Barnard, during a fatal car crash in 2008, and on Wednesday (27Mar13) he appeared in court in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa and denied the charge, in addition to two counts of driving in a reckless and inconsiderate manner.
He is due back in court next week (begs01Apr13) and if convicted, faces up to 15 years behind bars.
The 28 year old's sibling Oscar, nicknamed Blade Runner, hit headlines across the world last month (Feb13) when his model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, was shot dead at his home in Pretoria on Valentine's Day (14Feb13).
The track star, who claims he mistook his partner for an intruder when he fired his gun through a closed bathroom door, was charged with premeditated murder. The athlete is currently out on bail until his next court date in June (13).
