Osbournes To Auction Off Possessions
The auction on November 30th will feature art, furniture and collectibles from the family's residences, including items featuring in their MTV reality show The Osbournes.
X-Factor judge Sharon told the Associated Press that part of the proceeds would go to her Colon Cancer Foundation.
"It's time to unload," said Sharon, 55 tomorrow. "We just have an overabundance of possessions that we do not need."
Though she called the clear-out "one of the most refreshing things I've ever done", it seems husband Ozzy doesn't share her enthusiasm for selling the possessions, which include the cast-iron crucifix regularly seen adorning his den in various episodes of their reality TV hit.
"I don't know why we are selling everything as I want it all," he commented.
"Ozzy gets very attached to things," Sharon added. "He doesn't like change at all."
The 58-year-old Black Sabbath star is to perform a benefit concert at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on the night of the sale.
Some of the auction items will be displayed in advance at London's O2 Arena on November 5th, while Julien's Auctions will administer the sale on November 30th and December 1st at the Gibson Guitar Showroom, Beverley Hills.
