Oprah Gets Violent In Jimmy Kimmel's Post-oscars Skit

Oprah Winfrey showed off her violent side on late-night TV in America on Sunday (26Feb12) when she attacked book club fans as part of a skit on comedian Jimmy Kimmel's annual post-Oscars show.

The comic was pitching ideas to the TV mogul for new Oprah Winfrey Network shows and he imagined one that was a spin-off of Oprah's famous Book Club segment, called Fight Club Book Club.

In the scene, the former talk show queen challenged fans who didn't agree with her take on literary classic To Kill a Mockingbird.

Winfrey smashed glass vases, headbutted, kicked and punched other club members.

The skit ended when a disgusted Winfrey insisted Kimmel leave her office and jettisoned him through the roof in an ejector seat.

OWN makeover: Firstly, the crime/unfaithful/clutter Reality-themed shows are okay, not great. Own needs more flavor such as A Chris Rock comedy show which includes fresh comedic talents as well as previous performers from Xfactor, American Idol, the Voice. etc.; Perhaps, a Steve Harvey sitcom or a Oprah/Gayle sitcom similar to MaryTyler Moore/Rhoda, a morning show hosted by someone such as Phadra, Candice, Kne-Kne, Toni Braxton, etc. with live audiences, entertainment, fashion, news interest stories, etc.; Since giving away things/money have traditionally been apart of Oprah's winning ways, maybe giving away1k dollars sweepstakes to viewers who can enter phrases/words accessed by watching Own. Further, Oprah sense of fashion was impeccable during the Oprah show, why has she downgraded on her network? There was hardly any cursing on Oprah, why has she start cursing on her network?; lastly, since the Oprah show was #1 for 25 years, it may not be a bad idea for Oprah to do another talk show--- Oprah's next chapter or Oprah part 2, etc. As the old adage says: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And also important, Own has to be organized in its program line-ups/scheduling.
