Ono: 'Warhol Predicted Lady Gaga's Style'
YOKO ONO was urged to dress in flamboyant LADY GAGA-style costumes by late artist ANDY WARHOL, years before the eccentric singer shot to fame.
John Lennon's widow admits the pop art legend gave her some interesting fashion advice, which she turned down because she wanted to be taken seriously as an activist.
But looking back on their conversations, Ono is convinced Warhol predicted an artist like Gaga would one day take the world by storm.
She tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "(Warhol) said, 'Yoko, you should be doing like this and that.' He was actually predicting something like Lady Gaga, you know, the costumes and all that. He said, 'You should do that,' but I said, 'Well I'm an activist and I'm not going to do that.' I was in a different mood then."
