One Minute Silence For Absent All Saints
28 February 2007Shaznay Lewis, MELANIE BLATT, and NICOLE and Natalie Appleton cited sickness as their reason for pulling out of the show just hours before they were due on stage.
A club promoter was forced to read out a text message to their expectant fans, which said, "Hi Guys! We're sorry we couldn't make the show on Saturday night.
"We hoped to be feeling much better but Shaz had been really ill most of the week and Nic came down with a bad sore throat towards the end of the week.
"We hope you had a great time anyway. We'll see you all soon. Lots of love, All Saints."
He then asked the audience to take part in a one-minute silence for the band, who were rumoured to be have been dropped from their record label EMI after disappointing sales of their comeback album STUDIO 1.
However, a spokesperson for the band tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "The girls are still with the label."
