One Direction Serve As Flight Attendants For Charity
British boyband One Direction helped raise $80,000 (£50,000) for charity on Saturday (21Jul12) by serving as flight attendants for a group of lucky fans.
The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers welcomed specially-selected passengers aboard the British Airways jet for the journey from London to Manchester, north-west England in aid of Flying Start, the airline's charity partnership with Comic Relief.
The five stars donned special T-shirts to promote the cause and were on hand for the duration of the flight to help out their fans, as well as posing for pictures and signing autographs.
Singer Niall Horan took charge of the drinks trolley on the flight, which was named Ba1d in the band's honour.
