One Direction - One Direction Announce New Album

After reaching dizzying heights of fame via U.K talent show, The X-Factor, the lovable One Direction boys have become household names. With droves of teenage fans following their every move since their first release, Up All Night, their twitter announcement of the new album, Take Me Home will have caused mass hysteria amongst 'One Directioners'. It will feature tracks co-written by One Direction as well as British artists such as Ed Sheeran and McFly's frontman Tom Fletcher. The album's first single release Live While We're Young will get it's radio premier on September 24th, and be available digitally from October 1st.

It's been merely six months since they became the first British group in history to have their debut album enter the US charts at No 1. The record didn't do quite so well in the UK, climbing only as high as No 2. Up All Night has sold 3m copies worldwide. The band has recently been animated in the form of a comic incarnation for new book Fame: One Direction. The book, published by US company Bluewater Productions, will depict the story of the band's incredible rise to fame over the past 18 months.
