Olivia Wilde Designs Bag For Haiti
The Tron: Legacy star, who frequently visited the country with her journalist parents as a child, was among the first celebrity aid volunteers to travel to earthquake-ravaged Haiti in the wake of the 2010 natural disaster.
She co-founded charity organisation Campaign Happiness in a bid to help locals rebuild, and now kind-hearted Wilde has teamed up with bosses at eco-friendly fashion firm Alternative Apparel to create a trendy satchel to raise money for Port-au-Prince school Artists for Peace and Justice.
She tells Vogue magazine, "I've been trying to figure out how to combine conscious commerce with my love for fashion. I wear their sweatshirts every day and live in their maxi dresses. And they're (the owners are) good people!"
