OFF Festival 2012 have announced more acts playing at the event in the summer. The House of Love, King Creosote, Jon Hopkins, and Nerwowe Wakacje are just a few of the names that will be performing in Poland, alongside Iggy And The Stooges; Death In Vegas and Suicide. Also playing at OFF Festival will be Atari Teenage Riot; Other Lives and Swans.

King Creosote's latest album was a collaborative effort with Hopkins, called Diamond Mine. It was released in March 2011 and received positive acclaim. It was also nominated for the 2011 Mercury Music Prize and featured on many 'Best Albums of 2011' lists. Jon Hopkins, as well as being a singer-songwriter, he is also a producer and has worked with the likes of Coldplay; Brian Eno and Imogen Heap.

Also added to the line-up is Kim Gordon. The guitarist is perhaps best known for her band, Sonic Youth, which was formed in 1981. In November 2011, the band announced that they would be going on hiatus and now, Gordon will be performing at the festival with the improvisational drummer Ikue Mori, who is known for her work with the bands DNA and Death Ambient.

OFF Festival was founded in Poland in 2006. From 2010 onwards, it has been held in Katowice, in the south. Prior to the move, it was held at Slupna Park in Myslowice until 2009. OFF Festival will take place from 3-8th August.
