When Nadya Suleman - otherwise known as 'Octomom' posed naked for a European magazine, little did she realise it would reduce her value in the adult movie market. But TMZ reports today that although the offers for her to star in a porn movie have continued to come in since 2009, the value of the offers has drastically declined.
Octomom first came to worldwide public attention in 2009 when she gave birth to octuplets. Hers were only the second set of octuplets to be born alive in the United States and she gained a huge amount of media attention, especially when it was discovered that she already had six children and conceived the octuplets through IVF treatment. Suleman had previously stated that she would never pose topless but reportedly found herself desperate for rent money, so agreed to take part in the shoot for the sum of $10,000.
TMZ reports today (March 28, 2012) that the head of the Vivid Entertainment porn company, Steve Hirsch, has been trying to coax Octomom into starring in one of his X-rated movies. In 2009 he apparently offered her $1 million to star in her own blue movie. Then, in 2010, he offered $500,000 for one hardcore scene. "in the wake of Nadya's topless photo shoot" though, Hirsch offered Octomom a relatively paltry $100,000 to appear in three scenes, sending her a letter that stated "regrettably, your market value has diminished." She apparently rang TMZ to insist that she would never do porn.
