Julia Roberts - Notting Hill Bookshop Closure Sparks Campaign
The London bookshop where Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant's characters in Notting Hill first met is set to close.
The Travel Bookshop acts as the backdrop for the hit romantic comedy, which pulled in more than $360 million (£220 million) at the box office in 1999.
The store has become a popular tourist attraction, but is now two weeks away from closing its doors after the current owner failed to find a new buyer.
Local writers and poets have launched a campaign to save the shop, with many offering to work for free to run the store if a buyer can be found.
Alec Baldwin, who played Roberts' boyfriend in the movie, also helped raise awareness, tweeting Save the Travel Book Shop on his Twitter.com page.
