Noel Gallagher - Noel Gallagher Doesn't Want Beady Eye Album Battle

Noel Gallagher says Beady Eye won't be able to cope if an "album face-off" occurs between him and the band.

The musician releases his debut solo LP, 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds', next month and he insists he isn't interested in whether or not it sells more copies than his brother Liam's group - which he formed with the other ex-Oasis members, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock, after Noel quit the group in August 2009.

However, the 'AKA...What A Life!' singer expects people to compare the record to Beady Eye's debut 'Different Gear, Still Speeding', something he thinks some members will have a problem with.

In a web interview with Yahoo.com, he said: "I don't care, but the nature in which we live with the internet and all that, the people out there are going to do that anyway. You know Beady Eye were compared to me before I'd even had a record out so that's just the nature of it.

"If my record sells more than theirs it doesn't mean my record is better than theirs, music is all about the perception of the listener, it doesn't really matter. I hope it doesn't get like that 'cause I kind handle that kind of thing' you know? But there's people in Beady Eye who can't be cool about it and not get drawn into stuff so I hope there's isn't some kind of album face-off but there's nothing I can do about it."

Noel is also ready for Liam's appraisal of his solo album - which is released on October 17 - and expects he and the world will hear what the volatile frontman has to say very soon after he's heard it.

The rock star - who hasn't spoken to his sibling since Oasis split - added: "I know Liam has heard 'The Death of You and Me' because he tweeted about it. As soon as hears the album the world will know exactly what he feels about it. I don't think he'll leave anybody in any doubt what he thinks."
