Amanda Holden - No More Children For Amanda Holden
Amanda Holden has decided against having any more children after suffering a miscarriage, a stillbirth and almost dying whilst delivering daughter Hollie.
Amanda Holden does not want to have any more children.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge - who suffered a miscarriage in early 2010 and had a stillborn son last year - almost died from a major haemorrhage whilst giving birth to second daughter Hollie in January.
Now she and her record producer husband Chris Hughes, 39, have decided that along with daughter Lexi, six, their family is complete.
She said: ''No more - I couldn't face it again. Two kids is the perfect number for me.
''I think that this is what we're supposed to have. Maybe we'll get some rabbits instead.''
But the 41-year-old former 'Wild at Heart' actress admits she would have liked to have had a bigger family if things had been different.
She told The Sun newspaper: ''If I'd met Chris earlier then I probably would have wanted more children.
''But we had a fabulous long courtship, nice meals out and brilliant holidays and now we've got two beautiful children.''
She added: ''We will never forget our little boy, obviously. I said just after Hollie was born that our family is complete and I mean that. I feel so lucky that we've got to where we are.
''I look around the house at my husband and my two children and I think, 'This is amazing. This is perfect'.''
Amanda's heart stopped for 40 seconds and she spent three days in intensive care following Hollie's traumatic birth. At one point the pain was so bad that she did not think she would ever make it home.
She said: ''I couldn't do simple things. My mum had to shower me. It was like I was a baby again.
''Chris even got me a Zimmer frame just so I could get from my bed to the toilet.
''I threw it away after a day -- I just thought I'd rather grab on to the walls. My surgeon said my mental attitude got me on the right road and I've always prided myself on having a strong will. I need it.''
