Nine Inch Nails - Nine Inch Nails Star Offended By Carly Rae Jepsen Remix

Former Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna has slammed an online remix which has blended one of the band's songs with Carly Rae Jepsen's pop hit Call Me Maybe.

The rocker admits he was disgusted to hear Nine Inch Nails' song Head Like a Hole has been circulating the Internet as part of an unofficial 'mash-up' with Jepsen's chart-topping pop track, and insists he finds the project "insulting".

He tells Tmz.com, "Honestly I find the whole thing silly and partly offensive... I find it kind of insulting. It has trivialised something we've done. I am proud of what we've done and to take art - just to be a joke - I don't have any respect for it."

However, he is convinced the remix, titled Call Me a Hole, will soon be forgotten, adding, "In 48 hours no one will even know it existed."
