Nicole Richie - Nicole Richie Laughs At Dad's Style

Nicole Richie can't stop laughing at her dad Lionel Richie's 70s fashion choices.

The fashion designer - who was cared for by the singer and his ex-wife Brenda from the age of two before being adopted by them when she was nine - admits she finds it funny how drastically her style has evolved over the years, just like her rocker father.

She said: "It's evolved naturally in the same way that anyone's style would evolve from their teens to their 20s. when I look back at old photos, I'm able to laugh at myself in the same way I can show my dad a picture of himself when he was in The Commodores with the afro and the bell bottoms and he's like, 'Oh baby, that's so funny.' "

The 28-year-old beauty - who has two-year-old daughter Harlow, and 11-month-old son Sparrow with fiance Joel Madden - recently revealed she has had to alter her dress sense since becoming a mother to make it practical yet still stylish.

She said: "I'm a busy working mother. I'm all for what's comfortable but I don't think people today make enough effort with what they wear. At the same time I don't want to have to get out of bed early to decide what to put on. My jackets are my favourite part of my collection because you can just throw one on over jeans and a vest and it looks like you've made an effort."
