Nicolas Cage's Son Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges

Weston Cage was arrested yesterday morning (20.07.11) on charges of felony domestic violence.

The 20-year-old heavy metal singer - son of Hollywood star Nicolas Cage - reportedly had an altercation with his wife Nikki Williams which led to him being arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department for the second time in a month.

Weston was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries which police believe to be self-inflicted before being brought to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's office where his bail has been set at $50,000.

Nikki's mother said: "Nikki is safe and away from him."

Earlier this month, both Weston and Nikki were arrested on felony domestic violence charges which resulted in him sustaining a cut to his arm with a bottle and her threatening to jump off a balcony.

Police arrested them both at their Los Angeles apartment and booked them for domestic violence.

The pair - who married in April and recently spent time in rehab together - are currently expecting their first child and Nikki hinted their previous dispute may have been sparked after Weston caught her drinking alcohol.

She said TMZ: "I did drink the night before the arrest. I suppose my hormones got the best of me. That was the only occasion I consumed alcohol since I found out that I'm pregnant and I really regret my decision to do so."
