Nicola Roberts believes the next Girls Aloud album will be made "differently".

The flame-haired singer - who stars in the band with Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh - admits it is likely the group will record a follow-up to their 2008 album 'Out of Control', but thinks it will not be made in a similar way to their previous material.

She said: "We'll make this album differently. If we make a record.

"I'm a different person. I've grown up a hell of a lot since we made our last record. So it's going to be different."

However, the Liverpool-born star admits she still struggles with the music business and finds it "scary".

She added: "No matter how much control you have or how much confidence, it's always in someone else's hands, all the time.

"That's the scariest thing about this industry. It's so political. And sometimes the hands it is in are a**eholes hands. No matter how much you believe in something, how many years you've taken, it's in someone else's hands."
