Nick Hodgson Joins The Vaccines Onstage
Kaiser Chiefs star Nick Hodgson became a temporary member of The Vaccines on Tuesday night (03Jan12) when he stepped in to guest as their drummer.
The band was performing a show at Amsterdam Paradiso in the Netherlands after rescheduling the original date from last year (11).
They were forced to postpone the gig to allow frontman Justin Young to undergo throat surgery, but their drummer Pete Robertson was unable to make the new date - so Hodgson replaced him for the night.
He tells NME.com, "It was great, I loved it. (The Vaccines' song) Wreckin' Bar was twice as fast, but other than that everything went well. I got really into it by the end."
