Nfl Network To Kick Off On Time Warner Cable, After All

Time Warner Cable, which had steadfastly refused to agree to the terms of a new contract with the NFL network, has reportedly reached a deal to carry the league-owned network and the Red Zone network, Bloomberg News reported today (Friday), citing two people with direct knowledge of the situation. The Deal will reportedly be announced officially later today. Every other major cable and satellite provider had struck deals with the NFL, leaving Time Warner, the second-largest cable operator in the country, as the only holdout. It was inevitable, cable television consultant Lee Berke said in a telephone interview with Bloomberg. Once the other carriers have it, then it would've put Time Warner at a competitive disadvantage.
