Irish singer Sinead O connor is hoping to ring in the New Year (12) with a new husband and a new album - she's preparing to release her first album of fresh material in five years.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker, who married fourth husband Barry Herridge in Las Vegas on Thursday (08Dec11), has been busy working on the follow up to 2007's Theology and she has now set a release date of 20 February (12) for How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?.
The project will include a cover version of folk singer John Grant's track Queen of Denmark, according to RollingStone.com.
O'Connor will also head out on tour to promote the album and mark the 25th anniversary of the release of her debut album The Lion and the Cobra.
