Grateful Dead - Newly Unearthed Grateful Dead Concert Film To Be Screened In Theatres

The two-and-a-half hour film of the gig, which took place at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin on 18 July, 1989, was recently unearthed and will be shown to fans in cinemas across the U.S. on 19 April (12).

Grateful Dead devotees will be in for an extra special treat when they check out the concert film - they will also be shown rare photos of the band and will get to listen to a previously unreleased live track dating back to 1990 prior to the start of the screening.

The cult rockers disbanded in 1995 following the death of frontman Jerry Garcia.
