New York Fashion Week Begins

New York Fashion Week started today (05.09.12).

The spectacle will feature spring/summer 2013 shows starting with Organic by John Patrick followed by Rachel Comey and Erin Fetherston later today and tomorrow (06.09.12) which will see Tommy Hilfiger and Helmut Lang shows as well as Jason Wu, Jen Kao and Rag & Bone.

Among The Fashionistas looking forward to displaying their creations are Victoria Beckham, who took to her twitter account earlier today to excitedly count down The Days until she unveils her spring/summer 2013 clothing line next Tuesday (11.09.12).

She wrote: ''Just finished first day in NY, SS13 show in 6 days! X vb (sic)''

American fashion designer Alexander Wang is to unveil his latest collection on Saturday (08.09.12), while Marc Jacobs will show off his designs next week, as will Vera Wang, Rodarte, Oscar De La Renta and Jenny Packham.

Katie Holmes will provide a treat for fashion enthusiasts at New York Fashion Week next Wednesday (12.09.12) with her debut show for her label Holmes & Yang, before Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein close the America event next Thursday (13.09.12) as The Fashion spectacular moves to London.
