New York Dolls Announce New Album
04 March 2009David Johansen's glam/punk band who were an one of the most iconic outfits of the 1970s alternative scene reformed in 2004 and released the album ONE DAY IT WILL PLEASE US TO REMEMBER EVEN THIS.
The new album CAUSE I SEZ SO sees founder members Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain reunited with producer Todd Rundgren.
It marks the first time the band have worked with the legendary producer since their eponymous debut in 1976.
Johansen said: "It was amazing working with Todd again, and I think we were able to evoke the special sound of our first album and drag it by the hair into the present."
The band were recently confirmed as one of the acts to play RACHEL RAY'S food and music party at this year's South By Southwest in Austin, Texas.
