Lily Allen - Never Say Never: Lily Allen Back In The Recording Studio

Greg Kurstin worked on Lily's previous two albums, 2006's Alright, Still and 2009's It's Not Me, It's You, along with the famed British producer Mark Ronson. Kurstin is also known for his work with Kelly Clarkson, Ladyhawke, Kesha, Marina and the Diamonds and Foster The People. Since releasing her last album, Allen has had a troubled time; she suffered a miscarriage before her fortunes changed for the better and she gave birth to her daughter Ethel Mary in November 2011. Ethel Mary was her first child with her husband Sam Cooper, whom she married in June 2011.

Lily and Sam celebrated their first wedding anniversary recently, but it wasn't quite the romantic evening that Lily may have hoped for. Rather than taking her out for a romantic meal, Sam decided to watch the England v France football match on TV instead. Lily was left watching YouTube videos of Tommy MCLain's 'Before I Grow Old,' which was the song for their first dance, when they married a year previously.
