Nelson's Drug Admission Stuns U.s. Viewers

The singer took time out from his American tour to feature on the show and opened up about his experiences with drugs.

He revealed, "I have a huge tolerance for it (cannabis) that maybe everyone doesn't have. You can overdo it. You can hurt your lungs by putting anything into your lungs that has heat and smoke in it. Yes, you can overdo it. But as far as being as dangerous as cigarette smoke, no."

And further questioning by host Larry King led to a shocking revelation.

When King asked Nelson if he had "smoked pot" on Friday, the singer replied, "Yes, sure", admitting he had indulged before appearing on the show.

He added, "You could arrest me."
