Nelson Mandela's Great Grandson Dies
Former South African leader Nelson Mandela is mourning the loss of another close family member - his newborn great grandson has passed away.
Baby Zenawe Mandela was born three months premature and failed to survive following his birth on Thursday (23Jun11).
A statement reads, "Little Zenawe was born three months prematurely and died from related complications."
The news comes just a year after Mandela's teenage great-granddaughter Zenani was killed in a car crash on her way back from the soccer World Cup tournament's launch concert in Johannesburg.
Mandela's granddaughter Zoleka Seakamela-Mandela was mother to both children.
