Nelly Faces Credit Card Bill

Rapper Nelly faces legal problems at the beginning of 2012 - he's allegedly overdue on a credit card bill.

Lawyers representing American Express claim the Hot in Herre hitmaker has yet to pay off a $20,000 (£12,500) bill with the company.

According to Tmz.com, they filed suit against Nelly, real name Cornell Haynes, Jr., in October (11), but the rap star reportedly hasn't paid up.

A hearing is scheduled for 9 January (12).
