Nba May Bring Ads Closer To Action

Advertisers are well aware that during the commercial breaks for sports telecasts, viewers often make their way to the refrigerator for snacks, check out their email or Facebook pages, go to the bathroom, or simply chat among one another -- but they often don't watch the commercials on screen. Well, the NBA has a plan to solve that problem. During a one-year trial, it's going to put ads on the courtside apron in front to the player benches and on top of the backboards. The plan was first reported by Sports Business Journal. According to the magazine, the ads will be printed on removable plastic sheets and be used during preseason and regular-season games. They'll be removed for postseason games.
