Nadine Coyle - Nadine Coyle Brands Cheryl Cole 'A Failure'?
Nadine Coyle, the Irish pop star and member of Girls Aloud, was allegedly overheard criticising her band-mate Cheryl Cole while having birthday drinks in a New York bar last week. Nadine Coyle was quoted by Heat Magazine as branding Cole a "failure" following her dismissal from the Us X-Factor.
The 26-year-old, who currently lives in Los Angeles, was alleged to have vented, "I have more talent in my little finger. Why would I be jealous of a failure?" However, the singer has hit back at the claims and denied she ever made the comments. Speaking on her Twitter page, Coyle said, "Not true. Stop using me as the scapegoat for lack of stories". Nadine, who recently ended her relationship with American football player Jason Bell, was also alleged to have said "Cheryl got way too big for her boots. She thought she could walk on water and had to learn the hard way that things don't always work out as planned. People don't know the real Cheryl like I do". Cole's PR firm Supersonic PR has also doubted the legitimacy of the comments, tweeting, "Well now Cheryl has no friends that should mean no more stories from 'pals' in press".
Nadine Coyle released her debut album 'Insatiable' exclusively through supermarket Tesco in 2010 - the album peaked at number 4 in the UK album chart. The record featured songwriting collaborations with Guy Chambers, Steve Booker, Desmond Child and Toby Gad. The singer's new single 'Sweetest High' was released worldwide yesterday (22nd June 2011).
