British rap trio N-DUBZ have been embroiled in another controversy after they allegedly threatened fellow hip-hop star Lethal Bizzle at a charity soccer match.
The band is recovering from two drug scandals after bandmember Dappy was caught on camera taking controversial drug mephedrone in March (10) and was kicked out of a British theme park for allegedly smoking cannabis in the venue's hotel a month later (Apr10).
And despite recently insisting he was working on becoming a "better person", the rapper, with bandmates Tulisa and Fazer, caused a furore at the Soccer Six Tournament in London on Monday (31May10), when he confronted rapper Bizzle with a 10-strong entourage, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.
A spokesperson for Lethal Bizzle tells the newspaper, "He (Bizzle) was minding his own business. N-Dubz and 10 of their entourage approached him while he was watching a (soccer) match.
"Bizzle stood his ground and I could see they started backing off. But then Tulisa jumped in and started screaming abuse while security looked on. The crowd saw what happened and turned on N-Dubz and started booing them."
A rep for the band denies the allegations, telling the publication, "The band remain understandably annoyed about the claims Lethal Bizzle has made about them."
The band exchanged public insults with the rapper last year (09) after Lethal Bizzle claimed they had used parts of a demo he sent Tulisa in their song I Need You without permission.
