My Brother the Serial Killer is a new documentary that is set to air on Investigation Discovery this Wednesday (21st Nov. 2012) and is claiming that a convicted serial killer Glen Rogers was in fact responsible for killing Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. O. J. Simpson famously stood trial, but was acquitted for the murders. It remains the most expensive lawsuit in American legal history.
The documentary, according to the Huffington Post, does not include an interview with Glen Rogers directly, and rather has testimony from his brother, Clay Rogers. Glen is on death row in Florida and has in the past, according to The Daily Mail, claimed to have killed 70 women, although his jailing was only for the murder of two women. According to the documentary, Simpson knew about Rogers but chose to keep it quiet because he'd also been in touch with the now-convicted murderer, having asked him to steal things from Nicole.
Despite the alleged confession, Fred Goldman, Ron Goldman's father has told TMZ it's rubbish:
"OJ Simpson murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The criminal trial showed overwhelming and monumental evidence that OJ Simpson was the killer. There was no contrary evidence other than guess, innuendo, and rumor." He said, "The fact of the acquittal at the hands of the jury will never wash away this murder from the hands of OJ Simpson, no matter how many Glen Rogers pop up on the media radar screen."
There's already an Oscars buzz surrounding this movie.
