My Bloody Valentine - My Bloody Valentine Plan To Release First Album In 21 Years In Weeks
07 November 2012Cult indie rockers My Bloody Valentine have announced plans to release their first album in 21 years before the end of 2012.
Frontman Kevin Shields tells NME.com the follow-up to Loveless, the band's last album, will hit the Internet in the next few weeks.
He says, "I think with this record, people who like us will immediately connect with something.
"Based on the very, very few people who've heard stuff - some engineers, the band, and that's about it - some people think it's stranger than Loveless. I don't. I feel like it really frees us up, and in the bigger picture it's 100 per cent necessary."
