Embattled music mogul James Rosemond will have to wait until next year (13) to find out the length of his prison sentence after his upcoming court hearing was postponed.
The 47 year old, also known as Jimmy Henchman, is facing a substantial prison stint after he was found guilty of running a drug ring and convicted on 13 charges, including witness tampering, obstruction of justice and intentionally conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms (11 pounds) or more of cocaine.
He has been behind bars since his conviction in June (12) awaiting sentencing at a court in New York City on 18 October (12).
However, the date has now been pushed back by six months and he won't hear his fate until 26 April, 2013, according to Allhiphop.com.
The news comes just weeks after Rosemond was indicted in connection with a 2009 killing in New York City.
He is accused of hiring a gunman to kill Lowell Fletcher, who previously served two years in jail for assaulting Rosemond's then-14-year-old son.
Rosemond previously managed the careers of rapper The Game and R&B stars Akon and Brandy.
