Muse have booked the venue for 16 June (07) and hope to fill it with 75,000 fans.
The stadium, which housed London's Live Aid and was the home field of the country's soccer team, has been closed for major renovation since 2000.
Planned 2006 concerts there featuring Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones and Take That had to be re-located when the re-opening plans were stalled.
Muse drummer DOMINIC HOWARD admits the landmark show is a dream come true for his band: "It's something we've dreamed of in the past and now definitely seems the right time to do it. It's going to be amazing, overwhelming."
