Muse Love Olympic Song Reaction

Muse think it's ''cool'' if people hate their Olympics song.

The group recorded 'Survival' for the London 2012 games and its unusual sound has divided fans, but the band are just happy to have ''provoked'' a reaction.

Drummer Dom Howard said: ''If they hate it, cool. At least it's provoking something. It's a pretty weird song for the Olympics to choose, but it's cool they think the song can represent the enormity of the Olympics. It takes you back to Gladiator-style Olympics.''

The 'Supermassive Black Hole' hitmakers are thrilled with their new album 'The 2nd Law' and the direction it has taken them creatively.

Dom added: ''Every time you finish a new album you feel excited and nervous and anxious about what's gonna happen with it when it gets released. But with this one, we've discovered some new ideas for the band.

''Every album for me seems to open up doors to the future and this one does more than ever.''

I agree that the Video edit to this Amazing track is beautiful in fact as part of the New Album I look forward to buying it. However the Olympic Spirit has nothing to do with vengeance - why can't that line be changed for the duration of the games. Muse are Good but not God!
