Bryan Fuller - The Munsters Update Put On Back-burner
02 October 2012Bryan Fuller's new take on classic Tv hit The Munsters has been shelved by bosses at U.S. network NBC, according to reports.
The Pushing Daisies creator has been working on an update of the creepy comedy called Mockingbird Lane, with Jerry O'Connell playing Herman Munster, Portia De Rossi as his vampire bride Lily, and Eddie Izzard taking on the role of Grandpa Munster.
The show was originally developed with plans to air this year (12) and was later delayed for 2013, but now executives have decided against ordering a full series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
