Muniz Cancels Gigs After Crash

Mexican singer MARCO ANTONIO MUNIZ has cancelled a string of concert dates after failing to recover from car crash injuries in time.
The 74-year-old hurt his chest in the recent accident. He has been released from hospital and is being cared for at home under strict medical supervision.
It was hoped he would be well enough to take to the stage for series of planned concerts, but he has been forced to axe the dates in Santo Domingo, Tabasco, Aguascalientes and other cities across Mexico.
Muniz's wife Jessica Munguía de Muniz says, "Although he's gradually improving, we must avoid any further complications.
"He's talking and breathing relatively normally."
