Mumford & Sons star Ted Dwane is recovering well after waking up following brain surgery, according to his father.
The bassist was hospitalised on Monday (10Jun13) to undergo an emergency operation to treat a blood clot on his brain, prompting the band to axe three U.S. gigs this week (beg10Jun13).
Dwane's father John has now revealed the surgery went well and the family was relieved when the rocker regained consciousness.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "It's been terribly worrying - but he's come round fine and we're just glad about that and that he's safe. We're all really relieved."
The 1969 session, including the only known recording of 'Sunshine Woman' by the band, will be included on a re-issue of 'The Complete BBC Sessions'...
