Jayden Vaden was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma when he was one and grew up wearing a prosthetic.

But after becoming a fan of the rapper, who refuses to hide the fact he's missing an eye, the youngster has decided to "venture the world without" his fake eyeball - and his mum couldn't be prouder.

In an Instagram.com post, Brenda Vaden writes, "Today I am forever thankful to a young man named Willie Maxwell aka Fetty Wap. He unknowingly gave Jayden something we weren't able to give him - the confidence to be different."

Now she's a fan of the My Way hitmaker, and insists, "We'll be purchasing his album, a small thank you to him for changing Jayden's life forever."

Fetty Wap's debut album is released next week (25Sep15).
