Mtv Reunites Beatles For New Video Game
THE BEATLES are set to reunite on the small screen - MTV Games bosses are to dedicate a new video game to the band.
After many months of negotiations, the group's songs have been licensed to appear in a strum-along game similar to Rock Band.
Giles Martin, co-producer of the Fab Four's Love project, will serve as the music producer of the venture, which has been given the seal of approval by former Beatles Sir Paul MCCartney and Ringo Starr as well as Yoko Ono, the widow of their late bandmate John Lennon.
MCCartney says, "The project is a fun idea which broadens the appeal of The Beatles and their music. I like people having the opportunity to get to know the music from the inside out
While Starr adds, "How wonderful that The Beatles' legacy will find its natural progression into the 21st century through the computerized world we live in. Let the games commence."
