Movie Vampire Quarry Dead
Horror movie icon ROBERT QUARRY has died following a long battle with heart problems. He was 83.
A prolific actor, he is best known for his roles as vampire Count Yorga and Korda, the Deathmaster in classic horror movies.
Quarry died last month (Feb09) at the Motion Picture & Television Fund Hospital in Woodland Hills, California.
A favourite among vampire film lovers, Quarry was awarded the Count Dracula Society’s 1972 cinema award for his portrayals of the predatory Yorga.
