Morrison Denies Baby Reports

The Brown Eyed Girl hitmaker's official internet site carried an announcement on Tuesday (29Dec09) that a woman named Gigi Lee had given birth to the star's son, George Ivan Morrison III.

But Morrison has spoken out to rebuff the claim, insisting his web page was hacked and the news he has a son is "completely and utterly without foundation".

In a statement, he says: "Once these claims were brought to our attention, they were taken down from the site but not before news organisations repeated these falsehoods.

"The comments which appeared on my website did not come from me... For the avoidance of all doubt and in the interests of clarity, I am very happily married to Michelle Morrison with whom I have two wonderful children."

Morrison added it is the second time in three months that his website has fallen victim to hackers, and he has now asked his management to carry out an immediate investigation.
