Moretz A Favourite To Land Hunger Games Role

KICK-ASS star CHLOE MORETZ has emerged as the favourite to land the coveted role of KATNISS EVERDEEN in the movie adaptation of SUZANNE COLLINS' trilogy of hit young-adult books.

Movie executives are keen to start work on the films as Collins' final book of three, Mockingjay, shot to the top of bestsellers lists upon its release last month (Aug10).

The first film, The Hunger Games, is expected to start shooting at the beginning of 2011.

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart was among the first names connected to the trilogy, but insiders insist Moretz now has the lead.

	No way! She's only 13...she's a baby! Katniss is supposed to be 17, but she totally fits the bill for Prim.

	I'm sure Chloe will make Katniss tough outside more than Hit-Girl in Kick a**, and with inner feelings deeper than Abby in Let Me In. Get my fingers crossed for her. I can understand Lionsgate if they really cast Chloe. - They can make open casting. Can go well like HarPot, but can gone awry with wooden actings like Last Airbender. - Cast known stars with right appearance & age, make fans happy. But if they proven can't act like Twilight, they probably don't satisfied even with good BO. - See past age & appearance, so cast known star with not just huge fanbase but mainly CAN ACT/fine acting. Because Hunger Games film won't be just for fans of the books, but for EVERYONE to enjoy.
