More Fox News Postings From Gawker's "Mole"

Well, Gawker's "mole" may have been outed -- and ousted -- by Fox News PDQ, but it now appears that he may have made off with the equivalent of the Pentagon Papers. Gawker today (Friday) is publishing some additional files it received from Joe Muto, including a photo of three men and a topless woman. The men are identified as Bill O'Reilly and his two brothers (although it's hard to say which man is O'Reilly). It's also publishing the letter that it received from Fox News's attorneys, Epstein Becker & Green, which says in part, "Muto's admissions are admissions of likely criminal and civil wrongdoing on both his and Gawker's part. ... Fox News will pursue its rights and remedies in the appropriate legal forums." The letter goes on to demand that Gawker "stop publishing information and videos that have been unlawfully obtained by or from Joe Muto, and return them to Fox News." Gawker has demonstrated, however, that it has no intention of doing so. Not that any of this appears to bother Fox News chief Roger Ailes. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Ailes said Thursday, "What is Gawker? Is that that pornographic website? ... I don't care if they have a mole because we aren't doing anything wrong." Meanwhile, Forbes magazine writer Jeff Bercovici disclosed that Gawker paid Muto $5,000 for his contributions, a figure, said Bercovici, that appears to be "the going rate for inducing someone to commit career suicide.
