More Delays For Chinese Democracy
In a statement in December (06), the NOVEMBER RAIN singer announced the album would hit stores on 6 March (07), but the release is back off the schedule after another unannounced setback.
A new post on the group's website today (22FEB07) states, "There is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along.
"The good news is that all of the recording for the album has been completed."
Chinese Democracy will be the first Guns N' Roses album released since the 1993 covers collection THE SPAGHETTI INCIDENT.
Meanwhile, a high-quality version of one possible album track, called BETTER, was pulled from a number of blogs yesterday (21FEB07) at the request of the band's management.
Despite the album's delay, Guns N' Roses are still planning to perform their first African shows in late April (07) and May (07).
