Mo'nique Offers To Help Bullock Through Crisis

PRECIOUS star MO'NIQUE has offered fellow Oscar winner SANDRA BULLOCK her support as the actress battles to save her marriage following an alleged cheating scandal.
The Blind Side star has walked out on husband Jesse James following a tabloid expose about his reported relationship with a tattoo model and porn star and Mo'Nique insists she's there for Bullock if she ever needs to talk to someone who has no links to her marriage.
In an appeal to Bullock, who befriended Mo'Nique on the recent awards season circuit, via U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, the Precious star says, "To my sweet sister Sandra, my prayers are with you. My prayers are also with your husband, baby. That is between the two of you and I hope ya'll make it work.
"Sandra, if you need me sugar, call me baby."
She adds, "It's hard but that's their business. Let them go through their situation. I don't wish her nothing but happiness, along with her husband... I don't want to see any marriages dissolve or break up."

The incident occurred last month, on 8th June, when Bullock was awoken at 6am by banging coming from a room on the third floor of her Hollywood Hills mansion. Bullock was alone at the time in her second floor bedroom, which can only have made the encounter even more terrifying. Bullock apparently crept towards her bedroom security door in order to close it when she saw a man - now named as Joshua James Corbett - standing outside.

Fortunately, Bullock had time to shut the door and immediately called the Los Angeles police. Soon after armed police arrived and apprehended the 39-year-old stalker. Reportedly, as Corbett was being led away by police, he shouted to Bullock "Sandy, I'm sorry. Please don't press charges."

It is uncertain how long Corbett was in the house. Bullock had attended Spike TV's Guys Choice 2014 Awards the previous night and had returned home at around 1am on 8th June. She was woken a little after 6am by the noise which appears to have been the result of Corbett rummaging through her possessions.

TMZ obtained the search warrants which detail how Corbett was carrying a notebook filled with pictures of The Heat actress. Also enclosed in the notebook were Corbett's writings in which he claimed Bullock was his wife. He reportedly wrote "I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you."

Writings in the notebook also suggested Corbett had been watching Bullock's house for days, as the LA Times reports. He had also managed to enter the house despite the security fence and cameras. Detectives assumed Corbett had somehow managed to scale the security fence and entered the house through a rear patio door. Corbett claimed he was actually doing the actress a favour by breaking in to her house and merely wanted to show the security Bullock had in place was inadequate.

Yet the danger Corbett posed to the 49-year-old actress was even more evident when LAPD officers searched his house and discovered, asCNN reports, a vast number of weapons including six illegal machine guns. Corbett has been charged with 19 felony counts including seven counts of possession of a machine gun, two counts of possession of an assault weapon and 10 counts of possession of a destructive device. If convicted, Corbett could face up to 12 years in prison.

A number of the people convicted on stalking charges have been receiving psychiatric treatment including Gomez's stalker, Che Cruz, who was ordered to seek treatment in a psychiatric facility last month.

Despite the apparent exclusivity and subsequent security that Beverly Hills affords inhabitants, Bullock’s run-in with the obsessive fan proves that they will often go to ridiculous measures in order to gain recognition from the subject of their adoration. It also presents a worrying security concern as a lapse in mental health often fuels these celebrity obsessions. Most famously, John Hinckley Jr’s assassination attempt on then President, Ronald Raegan, was seen by Hinckley as a way of courting the attention of actress Jodie Foster. But to have a fan invade one’s personal space and most intimate of dwellings is a unsettling notion for most people, never mind those of the celebrity calibre. Here are a selection of unfortunate celebs who’ve been subject to break-ins, robberies and warped fans who got a little too close for comfort.

The Queen was rudely awakened by a man in her bedroom in 1982.

Known as the biggest royal security breach of the 20th Century, a steel erector and safe-breaker named Michael Fagan broke into Buckingham Palace in 1982 and managed to enter the Queen’s bedroom, waking her before swiftly leaving and eventually being caught by police. Fagan reportedly ate cheese and crackers, drank half a bottle of white wine and had a short rest on the throne during his brief visit to the heart of the British monarchy. It was a rude wake-up call for the Elizabeth II and proved that despite a fourteen foot fence, copious alarms and security guards, the head of state was still vulnerable.

Moss, then boyfriend Jamie Ince and her mother, Linda, were sleeping upstairs as robbers made a sneaky entrance into the luxury apartment. Theories abounded that it was the work of either The Bling Ring themselves, some of which were still at large at this point in 2010, or a copycat robber. Either way, the artwork has yet to be recovered.

An intruder ate Diddy's food and tried on his clothes.

Diddy’s properties have been targeted many times over the years but one break-in in particular sticks out as a particularly odd occurrence of a similar vein to that which befell the Queen in 1982. 30 year-old Quamine Taylor successfully broke into Diddy’s property via an unlocked basement window, but instead of stuffing as many diamond watches and hard cash into his pockets and doing a runner, Taylor hung around the house and made himself right at home. Upon finally being caught, Taylor explained that it was far from the first time he had broken into the rapper’s property, and had done so on multiple occasions under the reuse that he was part of Diddy’s extended entourage. Whilst inside the property, Taylor helped himself to the rapper’s food and drink and modelled the clothes found inside Diddy’s wardrobe.

Paris Hilton was the most prolific victim of the burglaries and her house was robbed on at least five occasions. Other victims of the gang included The Hills star Audrina Partridge, OC actress Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox as well as Lindsey Lohan. Moss was robbed of a portrait by street artists Banksy.

As the English supermodel and fashion icon slept soundly in her bed, thieves broke into her London home to relieve her of some truly iconic artwork which included a portrait by the artist Banksy, worth a reported $140,000.

Puff Daddy Celebrates Memorial Day
An intruder ate Diddy's food and tried on his clothes.

He pleaded guilty to charges of harassment and was gifted a restraining order for his efforts to get near the singer. However, Lechamp seemed unperturbed by this setback and busied himself finding fresh ways of gaining proximity to the singer. Joss Stone was the target of a brutal murder plot.

In a plot that seems like a work of fiction, Junior Bradshaw and Kevin Liverpool conspired to kidnap the singer, decapitate her and dump her in a river. Police found a selection of objects in the car to implicate the pair including two samurai swords, knives, a hammer, a black bag and gloves as well as written plans on how the kidnapping would be carried out. Notes in the car also suggested the pair had decided to kill Stone because they disapproved of her invite to the Royal Wedding. The two were charged with conspiring to kidnap and murder in 2013.

The Academy-Award winning actress made light-hearted fun of the speculation, claiming she has been secretly engaging in a fling with Evans, when talking to Entertainment Tonight.

"You guys are a little behind," she told the television news show.

"We've since married and it started breaking apart, so we separated," Bullock jokingly quipped. "We filed for divorce, and I hope everyone can respect our privacy. But we're going to remain friends and share responsibility of the farm animals we've taken on, because you just can't abandon the animals."

The 'Gravity' actress and the 'Avengers' star first become involved with romance rumours in May after being photographed enjoying each other's company in several restaurants around Hollywood.

''They have been talking more than ever and they flirt anytime they spend time together. She's been his dream girl for most of his life, so it would be a fairy-tale ending for Chris," a source wrongfully said at the time.
